Tutoring & Learning Support · Brooklyn, NY
I help students build real skills, real confidence, and habits that actually stick — virtually and in-person across Brooklyn and beyond.
About me
Hi, I'm Ritika.
Former educator · Learning specialist · Brooklyn-based
I spent more than a decade teaching in New York and abroad, including six years supporting neurodiverse learners in Singapore, before transitioning into learning design and curriculum development.
Over the years, I've worked with children from kindergarten through 12th grade — students with IEPs, ADHD, and dyslexia, and children who simply needed someone to slow down, listen closely, and meet them where they were.
What I've learned is this: when something finally clicks for a child, it's rarely just about the content. It's about finding the way their brain works best.
That's the work I care most about.
I help children build confidence, connect with learning, and discover their own approach — while giving families the tools to better understand how their child learns.
Let's talk about your childWhat we do together
No scripts, no one-size-fits-all worksheets. We start with your child and build from there.
Building fluency, comprehension, and written expression — at every level, from early readers to college essays.
Planning, organization, time management, and focus — especially for students whose brains work differently.
Math, science, history, test prep — we cover the subjects, and we build the skills to carry across all of them.
Practical systems that actually stick — so your child isn't starting from scratch every semester.
Because the mindset matters as much as the material. We work on both, every session.
I keep you looped in and give you tools to support at home — because learning doesn't stop at the session.
How it works
We talk about your child — their needs, their personality, what's been working and what hasn't. No pressure, no commitment.
Based on your child's goals and how they learn best, I put together an approach that actually fits them.
Weekly sessions, consistent check-ins, and real progress — at a pace that works for your family.
No two brains are alike—my job is to understand how your child’s works so they can reach their full potential.— Ritika, Little Life Coach
